If I'm not mistaken (and I've been known to be) what your talking about is a hardware function and has nothing to do with Linux... btw, your OS10 is BSD based.

Look in your BIOS, (if Macs have them --I'm Mac Illiterate) for "AGP Aperature Size". You can tweak the RAM allocation there... but don't get to excited, it's not going to increase video performance or anything like that.

What you want to do is hardware, not software dependent. Macs don't
have a BIOS in the same sense as x86 arch.; you can't get very close to
the hardware on a Mac. If there is a software solution, it will be so
slow that it would be meaningless. Your video performance is limited to
what is built into the Mac, unless you have one on which you can swap
cards.

edited: thread title.
reason: it was a non-helpful title for your actual question.

And also to point out, I find your other thread title as coming off as very demanding and rude. May I remind you and anyone else, when you make a thread title titled: " Unix question PLEASE ANSWER ASAP" that in no way helps us determine what your problem is by browsing or searching the forums here. Second, it might be urgent for you but its not for all the MEMBERS who come here in their SPARE time to help other people out for FREE. And also typing in all CAPS makes it seem your yelling which in no way speeds up your responses to any questions.

I'm not trying to come off as being rude to you. But if you think I'm making a big deal about it then that is fine, cause I do come here everyday to help others out in my own spare time and it irritates me the way you started your thread out like that.
