question about install package


Hello
why when we install package from source code take many time ,however ,when we install package from source code in slackware by using pkgtool ,it take a little time?
why?

pkgtool doesn't install from source, it installs pre-compiled binaries. Since no compiling is involved, it's a lot quicker
