Question about Half-Life 2 with Cedega
Alright, so here is the deal.
After struggling with Microsoft's insecurity and instability for years, I have really been considering whether I really should switch into using Linux full-time. ( Right now I have a Debian Linux server running behind my back and my primary PC is running Windows XP ).
The only problem I have is Half-Life 2. It's the only game I really would like be able to play in Linux. I have heard it *runs* under Cedega, but I'm not too sure if it will run with my current specs, which are:
AMD Duron 1,8 Ghz
768 MB of DDR400 ram
ATI Radeon 9600 XT
MSI KT4A-V mobo, with AC'97 audio soundcard and VIA Ethernet thingy.
If anyone of you have ever done this kind of a "transition", can you please tell me how HL2 ran with your box? I have been planning to use Debian with my new linux box.
