qt-1.4.x?

I am compiling a program for backup and it squawks at me:

checking for Qt... configure: error: Qt-1.4 (headers and libraries) not found. Please check your installation!

I can't find where to download this Qt software. Help!

Whenever you can't find an application you're best bets are to search for it at www.freshmeat.net or www.sourceforge.net
Usually that should give you some results. Anyway qt can be found at:

you want the qt-devel package. go to rpmfind.net or install it from your distro cd's.
