Putting Suse 9.0 on an empty HDD

Hey all,

Here's my situation. I have a desktop that I built with 2 hdd's in it. The Master is an 80gb with Win XP Pro installed. The Slave is a 20gb that is unformatted and empty. I am wanting to install Suse 9.0 on the 20gb HDD. I installed it once before and GRUB never started when the computer booted. Does the Linux HDD need to be set as the Master? Do I have to do anything in the BIOS? Should I give up technology and give poetry a try?

To make a long story longer...

HELP!!!

THNX,

The Redneck

Doesn't matter if the drive you want to install to is a slave drive. You should have the opportunity when installing Linux to select the drive you want to install to. Setup Grub to use the MBR and you should be fine.

Cheers.
