Hi all

I just searched whole sites and tried to find answer of my problem but I failed.
I just have installed linux(fedora 2) because I need to use the program which name is "CLAWPACK"
This programis a package of Fortran subroutines.
I just download and extract this program and I followed the manual of the CLAWPACK to install.
However, there is a small program.

First, I set the evnironment variable. => I could follow the manual, at that time.
>csh
>setenv CLAW <path>/claw

However, I want to specific directory which has the file, "compile"
The manual said that I can type this file name, "compile", but I got a this message

[sshim1@sshim1 example1]$ ls -a
. afterframe.m compile Makefile README setplot1.m setprob.f
.. claw1ez.data driver.f qinit.f rp1.f setprob.data
[sshim1@sshim1 example1]$ compile
compile: Command not found.

The color of compile is green in window x

Do I need do setting for this program? or my linux, fadora is not good to use CLAWPACK?
Please help me.

I really need to use the CLAWPACK.

is compile a program ? maybe the manual meant fro you to execute it

./compile

(or maybe try)
chmod +x ./compile
./compile
