ps -aux CPU usage percentage
I was approached by one of my interface people wanting to know if there was a way to get CPU utilization to more than one decimal place. He is trying to compare two ways to do a process and one decimal place is not enough from PS -AUX. He feels that several hundred instances of this process that uses .03% less cpu per process could justify the cost of the different package. Anyone have any ideas how to capture this information.
Thanks,
