Wink Promt : Host doesn't show me (Slalware 7.1)


I have problem.
When I log in to Linux .
I get command promt
"surachaich@(none):~$"
"surachaich@(none):~$ ls -al"
Host name doesn't show me
It was wrong.

if show me
"surachaich@(snino01m):~$"
"surachaich@(snino01m):~$ ls -al"
It true. Host name is "snino01m". It show me.
Please mail Result to surachaich@ttt.co.th

run "env" and see if HOSTNAME is set. if not:
look for file /etc/HOSTNAME, this should contain the name, else edit it.
look for /etc/profile, the variable PS1 (the commandprompt) should look like this:
PS1="[\u@\h \W]\\$ "
the "\u@\h" part means user at host. also check if the "export" part at the bottom contains PS1 and HOSTNAME.
