When kde starts up i get Kmix starting automatically and i dont want that. I dont have a save session checkbox anywhere so i dont know how it began starting on its own. Ive checked /kde/autostart and its not there. Under /home/usr/.kde/share/config/session there are two files, One is Kwin and the other Kmix, I am pretty sure if i delete Kmix that will stop it from loading but am i right? and is it ok to delete it without going through the proper channels ? IE.. the checkbox where ever it is, thanks.
you can try it by moving the Kmix file away from there...for example, move it to your home directory and see if it helps. if yes, then you can remove it - if something goes wrong & something won't work, just move Kmix back and you're fine
Yea i was gonna try that but i just found the session config check box in the mass of menus , I just changed it and now it does not start anymore, thanks for the suggestion though.
