Problems with udev and Kernel 2.6.19

Hi,
I'm currently trying to install 2.6.19 (and 2.6.19.1). When I boot using the new kernel, udevd enters an infinite loop giving me the following message(s):

udevd[638]: get_netlink_msg: unable to receive user kernel netlink message: Socket operation on non-socket
udevd[638]: get_ctrl_msg: unable to receive user udevd message: Socket operation on non-socket

I'm using the latest version of udev (0.103-1).

Any ideas? Thanks for your help.

Maybe you forgot something in the kernel configuration [in the Core Netfilter Configuration section], try again.

netfilter is not netlink. Perhaps it's a bug in udev-0.103? udev-093 works fine for me with 2.6.19

Nope, kernel 2.6.19.1 and udev-0.103 work just fine here.

Have you enabled networking support? CONFIG_NET=y
Unix domain sockets? CONFIG_UNIX=Y
The kernel <-> userspace linker? CONFIG_CONNECTOR=y
