Problems with redhat 9 install

Ok, I am trying to install red hat 9 on a pentium 2 (not sure exactly what processor), it has integrated video, 64mb of ram, and just a bogus sound card in it. Everytime I run the install it will fail a test and says "import site failed" and then has a few errors after that. I have looked up the errors and they seem to relate to python in some way. I don't really know what the problem is or how to fix it. The hdd has been formatted and fdisk'ed and all that jazz in another machine, then moved into this machine. I am wondering if it is some kind of a hardware problem or what? Thanks for the help

Well that was a good suggestion haha. I think the cd's are messed up, but what is weird is that I did not burn them. I have some burned copies, but this time I was trying to use some free cds that came with a redhat 9 book I bought. Well I guess they didn't want to ship good cds huh? :) Thanks anyway though!
