Problems downloading/burning a Fedora disc

So far, I have downloaded and burned 4 different copies of Fedora FC4-i386-disk1.iso from 4 different locations, and each one of them has proven to be "corrupt or incomplete". (I'm downloading the 5th now)

I know the burner and software are good, because I burned a set of Red Hat v8 discs and several other ISOs today.

Is anyone aware of this problem, or am I just having rotten luck today?

IS Fedora the best distro? Or would something else be best?

Thanks...

Where does it say "corrupt or incomplete"? If it's the mediacheck that is failing, then this is a known bug and you should try this boot command:
Code:
linux ide=nodma

Well, my first hint was when the installation would get stuck on the first graphics screen and go no further.

I've been downloading a new set from the Stanford University FTP, and so far, disc 1 is already bigger in size then what I've been getting. The disc 1 ISO files I've got on the HD now are 282Mb, but the one I just d/l is 634Mb (the true size).

I'm going to try again, and will post my success (or lack of it).

Thanks...
