Problema with DEBIAN IA64 DVD image

Hi everyone. I just downloaded the ISO image of Debian IA64. THe problem is that the DVD is not booting as it was supposed to be. I burned it correctly and in 2 different discs, my Setup is correctly configured to boot first from a CD/DVD and the CheckSUM of the ISO image is also correct.

Has anyone experienced something like that ?

Thank you all for your attention.

When you say you burned it correctly, does that mean you did a "burn from image"?

If you open the DVD from a file manager and see one .iso file, you burned it incorrectly...

Hi. I burned the DVD correctly. I don't see the ISO file.. I see what was inside of it... I burned the iso image with nero burning room, using the option BURN IMAGE. Hope it clears the matter now. Thank you for your answer.

Do you have an internal or external DVD?

I have a internal DVD LG 6147 double layer... The booting process from a CD or DVD is working perfect with other CDs and DVDs... The only problem I'm having is with Debian 64 bits... IA64... The DVD doesn't boot... The check sum is correct... Everything seems just as It was supposed to be... Thank you for you answer.

Also, what is your processor? IA64 is for special server type architectures. If you have an amd or intel based 64 bit desktop processor, you'll need the amd64 version: http://www.debian.org/CD/faq/#which-cd
