Problem with Squid.
 
i m trying to install squid on RH9.when i try to create swap directories i m getting the error msg

Squid Cache (Version 2.5.STABLE7): Terminated abnormally.
CPU Usage: 0.000 seconds = 0.000 user + 0.000 sys
Maximum Resident Size: 0 KB
Page faults with physical i/o: 200
Aborted


now i m not sure what missing in the configuration.tough i have installed and configured squid a couple of time before with the same procedure that i follwed this time.

plz guide me

Have you made sure that the user Squid is running as has permissions to the cache and log directories? Without knowing which commands you actually executed I'm just guessing - did you run something like /usr/local/squid/sbin/squid -z -F 2>/dev/null to create the cache directories?
