problem with parted resize on reiserfs

i'd like to resize my partition to free some space for slackware. so i took my suse
dvd booted into the rescue system, and started parted. i have one hd:

/dev/hda1 -> swap
/dev/hda2 -> reiserfs /

Code:

(parted) resize 2
Start? [439.2773]?
End? [19077.1870]? 14000
No Implemention: Support for opening reiserfs file system is not implemented yes.

what am i doing wrong? i am using the newest version 1.6.6

btw: ftp.gnu.org/gnu/parted/bootdisk/partboot.img seems to be offline...

parted does not support the resizing of reiserfs partitions. To resize the partition, use resize_reiserfs. If you want to shrink the size of the parition, make sure it is unmounted first. For reference:
