Problem with GTK themes on KDE ...
Hii, well, i use Firefox on my KDE 3.2.0 and I installed some new GTK themes like Plastig and ThinGeramik ... Butt I can't get them to work, when I look into X log, I get this warning message:
(firefox-bin:825): Gtk-WARNING **: Unable to locate theme engine in module_path: "qtpixmap", Can anyone help me?! :) |
I had the same problem.. cured it finally.. after 3 hours of scouring the whole of Google and linuxquestions and the answer is.....
run the following command gtk-query-immodules-2.0 check for the module paths mentioned there my module path was in /lib/gtk-2.0/ and NOT in /usr/lib/gtk-2.0 all my engines were installed in the second path and therefore no matter what I did the theme engines were never found Just linked all the files to the new location and voila... IT WORKS! |
