Printscreen - HOWTO ?
OS - RH9
I am booting off the RH9 cd 1 and going into linux rescue mode "linux rescue". I am curious under linux if I hit the printscreen key where it will save the file to, anyone know? If it does save the image can I print screen multiple times without overwriting the previous print screen? Why you ask? My goal is to print screen each step of the linux rescue process and once in I should be able to copy the files over to my root environment(/mnt/sysimage) Thanks! |
Humm, I haven't had much luck with the print screen button at all, even in a full up and running system. I would assume you would have to have a program running that would capture the print screen key and take the screen shot when it is pressed. I am not sure of any programs that take screen shots outside of an X environment though. I am pretty sure that this behavior is not configured by default, and I am not even sure if it is configurable
I am sure some others here know a lot more about this than I do. If I am wrong on this.... Please correct. PhilD |
