Does anyone know what type of printer supports linux?

most modern printers work on Linux. I have personally used, HP and Epson printers and they work fine on several Linux distros that I have tried them on, using CUPS.

yeah. My epson stylus color works fine. I also used CUPS ( www.cups.org)

See www.linuxprinting.org for all the printers that are supported on linux, how well they work and what drivers to use.
