Print Screen


hello everybody...
pardon me for asking this stupid question:

how do you print screen in Linux? I want to print some screens / terminals in Linux for documentations.Is there any key I need to press or something, like in Windows??Or maybe some software I need to install?

What distro are you using? Mandy and RedHat come with K snapshot app, that allows you to capture the whole screen or a particular window, look under graphics menu entry for screen capture or k snapshot, check http://freshmeat.net for screen capture software.

thanks!! I'll check out that app you suggested..
I'm using RH 7.2 btw....does it has K snapshot thing in it?How do I use it ?

the gimp also has a capture screen or whole screen shot tool as well..
