Print PDF - blank page

Hmmm....
Must be missing something simple. MDK 10.2 printing to a laser printer using CUPS. Print test sheet - OK. Print OOwriter doc -OK.

Print from pdf file - blank page w/error notice " session timed out"
Never printed from pdf file before - do I need to select different drivers?

Any help appreciated
Thanks

How exactly did you print the PDF? was it from an application like xpdf or Acrobat Reader, or did you use lpr from the command line. My guess is the print job never got sent to the correct destination. The lpq command should list your print queues and might show if the job is stuck somewhere.
