ppp and ip-up.local

what is it in PPP that causes ip-up and ip-up.local to run?

I've been tampering with my files and it seems that ip-up.local isn't triggered any more.

advTHANKSance.

I believe ip-up.local is run by ip-up, if I remember correctly from my Redhat days.

Maybe you removed or commented the line in ip-up that runs ip-up.local?
