PostFix, Sendmail - what's better for Maia?

Hi,

I want to test spamassassin as a frontend spam filter. The web-frontend I plan to use is Maia Mailguard.

But which MTA should I use? Sendmail is the default MTA of my distribution (CentOS4.4). But most tutorials use postfix.

I also found that many people say that sendmail is not secure.

So pls - What should I use?

Sendmail has a long history of past exploits, but that
shouldn't concern you too much these days. Personally
I'd go with postfix because it's (very) quick and the
configuration is far less obscure.

Cheers,
Tink
