hi,
i guess you should set up your browser to use the correct application for the specified file type. more info about it.

and i have a question too: if i playing a real video file i can't see the video itself, i just hear the audio. maybe i need a codec or something?

Possibly. Linux runs MPEGs right out of the box. Since I haven't been able to find a working copy of AVIFile (I can't install tarballs, and don't say "./configure, make, make install", because that doesn't work), I don't know how well DivX works under Linux. (I *do* have the DivX codec installed--copying files to /usr/lib/win32 works fine...)
