Pinyin fonts tone marks

Would like to learn how to use Pinyin Fonts to email china using Linux
Any help to key in pinyin would be appreciated

check out this site.. looks as if they might have those fonts types for linux. http://cgm.cs.mcgill.ca/~luc/china.html

Still trying to find out How to install Pinyin Fonts and use Linux.
Windows word 98 is set up Now would like ti set up Linux
