hi,
there is a file on our web server . it is a linux server and the file is PHP file. we need that file run/execut every day on a given time.
please let me know any solution any solution?

AFAIK you would installed PHP so that it runs like you average CGI script would (effectively running the same way Perl does [assuming you are not using mod_perl!]), using a command line interpreter sorta setup. So yeah, you would call your script as you suggested, or with #!/usr/bin/php as the first line of your .php file, then chmod the file to atleast 700... Although I've never seen it actually done.
