PHP & Apache2 issue status?

Hi all-

php.net has this warning on their site, under: Servers-Apache2 ...

- Warning -
Do not use Apache 2.0 and PHP in a production environment neither on Unix nor on Windows.

Can anyone tell me where things are at with the Apache2-PHP issue?
Is this warning still completely valid? ... for:
php 4.3.4 ??
apache 2.047 ??

Any help with this would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance! -Thomas

I have never run into problems and I run this set up on a variety of machines.

bump - I'm moving a site to a dedicated server with Apache 2.0 that makes pretty extensive use of php (with shopping carts and other sensitive data). Any issues? suggestions?

I read somewhere that php should be used via cgi-bin on Apache 2.0? Anyone know anything about that?
