I have a dual boot WinME and RH 7.1. My windoze drives are mounted as /winc /wind/ etc... The permissions are set to read only for all users, and i tried to change them as root to read/write but they dont change, they just stay Read only. I tried through both chmod and through X.
Thanks

I believe that you have to edit the fstab file to give read/write permissions. Look in your fstab file for the two lines that mount the windows partitions. In the forth column, you should see ' ro '. Change this to ' rw '.
