pdf files on how to use linux.
I'm wondering of anyone knows where there are pdf files or any other file type on how to use linux (Red Hat). I have done a fair bit of searching and i did find one site, however it is a broken link.

Rute is available in PDF format. It's one of the best Linux manuals out there.

IBM DeveloperWorks
http://www-106.ibm.com/developerworks/linux/ Look in the "Tutorials" section http://www-106.ibm.com/developerwork.../tutorials.jsp Especially the "LPI certification exam preps" |
on this subject, I have a program called Xpdf to view PDF documents, but it seems really bare bones, and I just dont like the feel of it.
are there any other options for a linux PDF viewer? |
Adobe Acrobat Reader is available in linux, too. Although it is not the latest version and by no means eye-catching, it is better than xpdf.

ggv is a good pdf viewer. But I like the older looking gv

Haven't tried Acrobat in Linux, but xpdf, while somewhat ugly, seems much faster, especially in rendering large graphical PDFs, than gv was. Some PDFs with lots of vector graphics took 30 seconds to display in gv, and were truncated strangely; xpdf rendered them in no time and without truncating.
