Post PCI express hotplug support

I'm attempting to identify a Linux distribution which provides support for PCI-express hotplug detection by the OS.
I'm currently using 2.6.9-11 (EL) from RedHat.....Can someone indicate which is the next (minimum) version I have to transition to, in order to get thsi support

Moved: This thread is more suitable in Linux-General and has been moved accordingly to help your thread/question get the exposure it deserves.

When it comes to PCI hotplug, it looks it's available in the version you have. The thing is that your kernel may not have it turned on (it's an option when you compile the kernel).
