PC hangs on lsusb command

As the title says.. I'm trying to find out where my USB radio 'dongle' is and if I type in lsusb, the terminal window just seems to freeze with no output. This command worked yesterday, but now it doesn't!

I rebooted, but that made no difference.

Any ideas?
