Palm M100
 

First let say that I wasn't sure which forum this belongs in so if it will fit better in the just General forum please move it.

Ok here is the problem I had a Palm M100 given to me because the owner said it was possessed by Demons & they purchased a Palm M500 & had no use for the M100. Now I couldn't turn down a free PDA so I took it, here's what I found.

1.) When you touch the screen with the stylus it reads above where you touched (for ex. on the Calc. when you touch the 8 the 5 will register).
2.) the bottom left\hand coner of the screen seems to be dead (like when you beam from one PDA to another & it asks to accept the info you can't because the ok button won't register.

I checked at Palm but could find no updates for the PDA & I've done a soft & a hard reset on it. I was wondering if there might be a linux distro to put on it like the Sharp Zaraus. I mean it is pretty much useless as it is & I wouldn't be out of any $ if it didn't work so why not experiment with it.
