Oracle is no longer distributing license for java for linux


As anyone seen this article about Oracle dropping java for linux

Oracle is scary.

But this particular article isn't as scary as it might sound at first.

It just means your distros will be packaged with OpenJDK instead of Sun Java.

Which is arguably a Good Thing...

Oh well, I guess we have to download and install Oracle's proprietary version if some packages are hardcoded to use those. Let's hope openJDK works well with the packages.
