OpenOffice fonts selector

Hi :)

Is it possible to get a package that makes the OpenOffice drop-down for font selection use the fonts so that i can compare them? I seem to remember it is but can't remember the package name. I am really looking for something like the MicroSquish Font "Monotype Corsiva". I am currently using a LiveCd of Ubuntu 9.04.

Regards from
Tom :)

OpenOffice uses fonts installed on your system. If you want a particular font, get the package for it and use your distro's font management tools to install it. Then OpenOffice can use it.

What you're looking for is just a configuration option: Under “OpenOffice.org”, there's a “Display” entry (“Affichage” in French), with settings for the user interface, 3D, the menu, the mouse, and fonts. In there, you'll find your option: “Fonts preview”.

Yves.
