Open source software buttons for website
 

Hi everybody,

I hope my question is not going to be inappropriate for this forum.

i developed an website for an NGO I'm working with and it is all built and ran using open source software. This is why I made a credits page on which I want to specify all of them.

This is why I'm looking for a place to find those little buttons that you include on your website as recognition. I'm looking for a small collection of similarly made buttons so that they will fit nice in the overall site design.

The buttons I would like to include are Firefox, Drupal, PHP, mySQL, Apache, Fedora and also the XHTML and CSS valid ones.

Because it's software-specific if such buttons exist at all, I would myself start off visiting the sites of all those you mentioned for a list of available banners. Or, if it's possible without violating any rules, just create your own set. It's pretty unprobable that you just find one full set laying around in the web that fits to your site's design and is there for you :) though it's not completely impossible..good luck.

I don't know about the others, but you're best bet is to visit the official sites of the products concerned.

I'm coming back to this post to share my experiences looking for open source software buttons.

After some intensive browsing I finally found a few websites with buttons collection, and the best one to start from would be Steal These Buttons that offers an impressive collection as well as links to some generators and other goodies in this area.
