At the boot menu ( grub ) , arrow down to the Redhat menu item and
Type: e
Then arrow down to the line which has kernel information and
Type: e
Go to the end of that line and space over one space, then
Type:init 3 and press the enter key
Now type: b to boot up into the command line mode.
For Redhat, including FC1, you could reconfigure things by typing
redhat-config-xfree86
but with FC2, you can use the command: setup which will bring up a small GUI menu. The last item on the list is X configuration . That is what you could use.
When you are done, reboot or type: init 5 to boot up into GUI mode.
