I have a very annoying problem. Everytime I boot my laptop, I have to reinstall my Nvidia driver in order to go into X. There is also another problem. Every other time I boot, my wireless card gets removed. Here's how that goes:

boot #1: eth1 was added
boot #2: eth1 was removed
boot #3: eth1 was added
boot #4: eth1 was removed
boot #5: so on and so forth. . . .

What is the deal? I have tried the default MDK 2.6.3 kernel and I have compiled and installed the new 2.6.4 kernel. Nothing seems to work. I really need to get these problems resolved before I try the 6 foot drop test on my laptop.

hmm.. have u tried to add drivers into kernel? (not module). i think it musnt add or remove if it is already loaded in kernel.
