NumLock in X

Just point me in the right direction so I know where to go look.... :^)

I have found that under blackbox I can't activate my laptop's embedded number pad.
This is usually done with Shift-ScrLk on my keyboard. I can do it in DOS (I dual boot)
and in a console Linux, but not under X in Blackbox 7.0

I am using an IBM Thinkpad 385CD. (nice 486 laptop).

This is really low priority since I can get to it in a virtual console.

Thanks.

Sounds like a xkb problem, to me. There's a section in your Xorg.conf that deals with keyboard models, layouts, etc. I'd start with that and go from there. Sorry, I don't know how xkb actually works.
