Nothing new. You can even download kernel packages for 2.6, email me if you want the link.

New kernel, KDE, Gnome, Samba, a LiveCD... but what I really want is a distro with XFree 4.4 included. They don't even mention it.

I understand it's not legally compatable with GPL applications? My guess is you'll see most future distros using a fork, and maybe including XFree as an option.

It's hard to believe they're going to give up so fast. I remember in the SuSE installation YaST asked me - "Are you sure you want to install 'fortune'? Not politicly correct blah" I guess they'll do the same with XFree 4.4.

I know only one person who reads agreements before installing apps, but they'll put it anyways.

What is also interesting (and signals quite a change from SuSE to Novell): They are set to release Yast under the GPL http://www.heise.de/newsticker/meldung/45773 (link in german language)
