Post Not sure where this error comes from. "SIOCGIFHWADDR"

adding "alias wlan0 ndiswrapper" to /etc/modules.conf ...

It has something to do with the hardware address (HWADDR). It looks as if the device is not being seen by the system.

This link may cast some light on it, but I don't pretend to understand it.
