nobody on limewire?

Hi, sorry if this is totally unrelated.

I just installed limewire, and wasn't able to find anything I searched for. Is nobody on it? Did the big bad RIAA scare everybody away?

Thanks.

I've been using limewire for about 2 years and I hardly find what I'm looking for. It's okay for mp3s though. I don't think the RIAA targeted limewire like they did Kazaa and Kazaa is still running. I decided to go w/ kazaa through wine.

you'll presumably not have a good enough hosts file to get into the gnutella network... you should be able to get an example starter hosts file from zeropaid.com

btw. limewire is really not a good client. it's just shiny.

Oh thanks! I knew nothing about a hosts file.

So, when you use a particular Gnutella client, you are only sharing with people using the same client? Is that true?
