[resolved] no write permission on NTFS mount

I have a share on my NTFS box (win2003) mounted from fedora. I don't have write permission however. Why?

I had it set up this way before (i have reinstalled fedora, and my 2003 box used to be XP) and I could write. Are there different permissions between 2003 and XP? As fas as I know I am using the same mounting method with linux.

mount -t smbfs -o xxxxx share mount

I can't changed the permissions with chmod.

As I write this email I am coming upon the conclusion that it is 2003 permissions.

Solution:
Even though the solution was to do with Windows and not Linux, I'll tell ya.

In win2003, when a group is created it is given 'read only' right, vs. 'full control' rights when a group is made in XP/2000.
The permissions need to changed under the sharing tab (not the security tab). Now when I ssh to my linux box, mount the wwwroot dir on 2003, I can edit my web. Hooray!
