No rule to make target `/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf', needed by `Makefile'. Stop
I'm trying to install aBbackup, from Freashmeat. I have RedHat 9.
I have unpacked the aBbackup0.2_beta.tar.gz archive. Now I follow the instructions:
2.4 Setting your $QTDIR variable
Go in console and type:
# echo $QTDIR
If the above command returns nothing, empty string, that means that your QTDIR
variable isn't initialized. Edit the ~/.bashrc directory (it is located in /home/user/.bashrc, hence '~'), and at the
end of the file add
if your Qt Libraries are installed in the '/usr/lib/qt3' directory.
My Qt libraries are installed (I think) in /usr/lib/qt-3.1, therefore I add
Save the changes and re-login. Now you have your QTDIR variable set.
However, when I type # echo $QTDIR, the command still returns nothing.
And if I go to the aBbackup0.2beta2 directory and type # make, I receive the following message
make: *** No rule to make target `/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf', needed by `Makefile'. Stop.
If it can help, two lines in the makefile refer to /mkspecs/default/
INCPATH = -I$(QTDIR)/mkspecs/default -I. -I$(QTDIR)/include -I.ui/ -Isrc -I.moc/
Makefile: backup.pro $(QTDIR)/mkspecs/default/qmake.conf
Any suggestions to solve this problem?
