Unhappy no overscan in twinview mode

Hi everyone!

I use SuSE 9.0 and have a GeForce4 Ti 4800SE graphics adapter. I recently managed to get my TV-out working properly, even in colour . There is just one problem I haven't been able to fix until now: There is always a black border about 1-2 cm thick around the picture, which wastes quite some space. My TV is pretty old, but in Win2000 I got rid of the borders by using TVTool (using the nvidia controls which come with the driver led to the same problem as I have now).
Using the overscan option doesn't change anything and my XFree86.0.log shows me this output:

(WW) NVIDIA(0): TV-0 is not capable of overscan.

Of course I prefer to believe I just haven't found the solution yet. Is there any other way or did I miss something?

Here's the device section in my XF86Config:

Section "Device"
BoardName "GeForce4 Ti 4800 SE"
BusID "1:0:0"
Driver "nvidia"
Identifier "Device[0]"
Screen 0
Option "TwinView" "1"
Option "SecondMonitorHorizSync" "30-50"
Option "SecondMonitorVertRefresh" "50-60"
Option "TwinViewOrientation" "Clone"
Option "MetaModes" "1024x768,1024x768;800x600,800x600;640x480,640x480"
Option "ConnectedMonitor" "CRT, TV"
Option "TVOutFormat" "COMPOSITE"
Option "TVStandard" "PAL-G"
Option "TVOverScan" "1.0"
Option "NoLogo"
Option "Rotate" "off"
VendorName "NVidia"
EndSection

Thanks for yur help!
