I just can say WTH!
I have noticed that pwc module doesn't work under kernel 2.6.7 (at least to me). So I went to the page where I usually got all the info, just to know how to solve it.
To my surprise i found the website closed. No more maintainance will happen.

The author explain why (problems with kernel maintainers), and I really must say that this is the worst thing I've ever seen in linux.

I totally blame Kernel maintainers for making stop the module.

As he says, the only loosers are us, people who have nothing to do with kernel-development and that we end up without support for the hardware.

So now I have only one possibility if I want to use the webcam, use 2.6.6 kernel until someone supports again the module or till the end of my life.
