I have a Fedora 9 machine, following is the output of my uname -a

I upgraded my system with standard yum update yesterday. Today when i tried to do a yum update again, i got the following error.

[root@ ~]# yum update

I dont know if this problem has been seen before, but all the help is appreciated.

Hi,
I found the solution to this problem.
In the /usr/lib/yum-plugins/filter-data.py (the paths may differ), there was a missing colon on line 111. After editing the file, the problem was solved.

thanks
