New Framebuffer Penguin Logo?

Hi, I've just downloaded and compiled the new 2.6.29.2 kernel and I've noticed that the penguin logo at bootup is different. It looks more evil looking. I can't take a printscreen to show you but take my word for it.

Anyone else getting this? I downloaded the source from kernel.org so should be legitimate.

Believe it or not, it is to raise awareness of the endangered Tasmanian devil.
