new distro- hardware detection
I have been reviewing different installers like Anaconda and oddly enough, Knoppix. I really like the hardware detection that knoppix has. I am wondering if anyone knows if that is a seperate package, in which case I could use it in my own distro, or if I have to build off of knoppix, or even the debian source to utilize that feature ? If you have any good examples that would also help.
