networked smb printer wont print thru windows xp firewall
I setup a samba printer on my laptop. The printer resides on another computer on my network which is dual boot fedora / xp computer. I setup the samba printer on my laptop and it works fine in XP as long as I don't have the windows firewall enabled. I can't find anywhere to tell me what port to open or how so I thought I check if one of you folks have run into this same problem. It's windows xp service pack 1 firewall I'm trying to print thru. Unitl I get a new digital camera windows has to stay around because mine isn't supported in linux and I can't wait for the day to click that format partition button and watch windows go bye altogether! Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
