Netscape 6 Terminates!!

I get this error whenever I go to a page with a java applet embedded in it or a flash animation:

java_vm: relocation error: /usr/local/netscape/plugins/java2/lib/i386/libjava.so: symbol __libc_wait, version GLIBC_2.0 not defined in file libc.so.6 with link time reference
INTERNAL ERROR on Browser End: Could not read ack from browser
System error?:: Resource temporarily unavailable

and then the browser terminates.

I know that. What is your point? Netscape 6 is based on Mozilla.

Netscape 6 may be based on Mozilla, but Nescape definately is not Mozilla, just as I am not my Father.

The latest release of Mozilla is always newer than the latest release on Netscape.

yes I've updated the java plugin and the flash plugin. It didn't help. The original plugins were the ones installed by the netscape installer when I installed netscape itself, so they shouldn't be the problem.
