I have almost completely ran out of disk space on dev/hda6 which is {i guess is the system partition]? I know that dev/hda7 partition is home. When i ran the gnome partition editior I could not resize the windows part. I am really at a loss here and have over 40 mgs of free/unused space on the windows partition. What do i need to do? Will gnome part. editor work?
gparted might be able to handle this from a livecd. As always, make sure you have all of your data backed up before performing major work such as this.
Also, we can better asses your situation if you post the output of 'df' and 'fdisk -l'.
